Rolls-Royce Phantom I Tourer

This 1928 Phantom I, chassis 33CL, has been through a complete nut-and-bolt rebuild completed this year. The chassis was stripped, blasted, inspected and repainted, and a new four-door open tourer body in the Barker-style open pattern was fabricated for it, so little of what you see is original fabric.

The mechanical work is extensive. The engine was stripped by a Rolls-Royce technician and rebuilt with a new aluminium cylinder head, white-metal bearings, pistons and oil pump. The radiator has a new core, the Autovac and gauges have been overhauled, the car has been fully rewired, and it sits on new 21-inch rims and tyres. Brakes, springs, dampers and driveline were also dealt with.

The finish is Bentley Grey over charcoal mudguards, with Dove Grey leather, a Charcoal hood, Tasmanian blackwood running boards and a burr maple dashboard with a fitted cocktail cabinet. The car is in Perth, Australia, and is not currently registered. Australian registration can be arranged as part of the sale, and shipping worldwide is possible.
