Rolls-Royce Dawn

The Dawn occupies a unique position in the Rolls-Royce lineup as the only four-seat open-top car in the world when it launched — a soft-top grand tourer built around the Ghost platform but with a bespoke body and a notably more driver-focused character than the Phantom Drophead it succeeded. This 2020 example has covered 25,748 miles and was clearly specced with a coherent dark aesthetic: Exterior Black Detailing, Black Cashmere Headlining, and a black exterior combine with 21-inch 14-spoke fully polished forged wheels to create something more purposeful-looking than the typical pastel-finished Dawn.

Under the long bonnet sits Rolls-Royce's 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12, producing 563bhp and 820lb-ft of torque — figures that translate to a 4.8-second 0–60 time, delivered with the characteristic absence of mechanical drama. The Driver Assistance Systems One package was a factory option on this generation, adding camera and sensor capability beyond the standard fit.

The Black Detailing option is one of the more transformative choices available on the Dawn, shifting the exterior brightwork from chrome to black and giving the car a significantly darker presence. Combined with the cashmere headlining upgrade, this was clearly specced to be driven with the roof up as well as down.
