Porsche Cayman GT4

The 981 Cayman GT4 was a landmark moment for Porsche — the first road-going Cayman to carry the GT badge, and it borrowed its 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six directly from the 991 Carrera S. This example stands out even among GT4s: just 848 miles from new since 2015, placing it firmly in time-capsule territory for a car that many regard as the purest, most analogue mid-engined Porsche of its era.

The specification is well-chosen. Racing Yellow with matching seat belts is the defining colour for this generation, and the 918 Spyder bucket seats in black half leather are a sought-after factory option that meaningfully improves driver support over the standard chairs. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, Sport Chrono Pack with Track Precision App, and the switchable sports exhaust are all present, alongside the Extended Leather Pack and illuminated carbon door entry guards. A full body paint protection film was applied from new, so the bodywork has been shielded throughout its minimal life.

With the six-speed manual gearbox — the only transmission offered — and 385 bhp driving the rear wheels through a mechanical limited-slip differential, the GT4 offers a level of driver engagement that subsequent turbocharged successors struggle to replicate.
