2012 Porsche Boxster

The 981-generation Boxster represents the model at its most resolved — lighter and more dynamically focused than its 987 predecessor, with a properly stiff structure and a free-revving flat-six that rewards those who use it. This 2012 example is finished in Platinum Silver with black leather, black power hood and the optional PDK gearbox: a combination that makes it equally capable as a daily driver and a weekend car. At 46,015 miles from new — averaging under 3,500 miles per year across 14 years — it's a genuinely low-mileage car relative to its age.

The factory options list is well specified: 19" Boxster S wheels, Alcantara Sport Design steering wheel, body-coloured roll-over bar, Alcantara centre console lid, heated seats, Porsche Sound Pack and front/rear parking sensors. The Sport button sharpens throttle response noticeably, and PSM can be dialled back when conditions suit. The 2.7-litre DFI flat-six produces 265bhp — enough to make the PDK's quick shifts feel purposeful rather than merely convenient.

The car is offered by Paragon, a long-established Porsche specialist in East Sussex, and is currently in preparation. It will be supplied with a full service, new MOT and Paragon's 12-month parts and labour warranty.
