Porsche Boxster

The 981-generation Boxster marked a significant step forward for Porsche's entry-level roadster — sharper proportions, a new direct-injection flat-six, and the option of the seven-speed PDK that transformed the driving experience. This 2012 car pairs that gearbox with the 2.7-litre 265 bhp engine: less power than the S, but also lighter at the nose and arguably the more balanced choice for a driver who values the mid-engine feel over outright figures. At 46,015 miles it's been used as intended without crossing into high-mileage territory for a fourteen-year-old sports car.

The specification is well-judged. Platinum Silver with a black hood and black leather cabin is a combination that reads as clean and purposeful rather than flashy. Factory options include the Alcantara Sport Design steering wheel, body-coloured roll-over bar, 19-inch Boxster S wheels, and the centre console lid in Alcantara — details that lift the interior above the base trim without overcrowding it. Heated seats, Bluetooth, Porsche Sound Pack, and front/rear parking sensors add everyday usability, while PSM and the Sport button cover the dynamic bases.
