Listed today at Export 56, Cranfield.
This 1965 Porsche 912 is one of the first three right-hand-drive examples brought into the UK, landing via AFN on 15 August 1965. It began life as a demonstrator for Porsche Cars GB and was reviewed in the September 1965 issue of Autocar under its current registration, FYN 912C.
The 912 paired the 911-style body with a detuned four-cylinder engine, here a 1.6-litre unit making 90 bhp, and this car has a five-speed manual gearbox. It is described as fully matching numbers and is finished in its original combination of Light Ivory with red leatherette. It has covered 97,000 miles and has had two owners from new.
The history file is substantial: three thick folders of bills, receipts and invoices, plus period magazine features and correspondence. It comes with a V5C, full sets of keys, a clear HPI check, the original 912 handbook and a driver's manual. The listing shows it as sold.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Porsche AG historical factory data (90 PS DIN, 185 km/h). Porsche published only a 0-100 km/h time, so 0-60 mph is left blank.).
