About this car
Offered with a 3.8-litre flat-six twin-turbo and PDK, this 997.2 Turbo is the generation that fixed the earlier car's few weaknesses: direct injection, no more Mezger-derived crankcase concerns, and a quicker, smarter gearbox. Its 500 bhp and 650 Nm drive all four wheels through the dual-clutch PDK, and Porsche quoted a 194 mph top speed. It is a car that still feels properly rapid today, and the usable all-weather pace is a large part of its appeal.
This example from November 2011 is finished in Basalt Black Metallic over black leather and has covered 50,502 miles. The original owner specified it well beyond a standard Turbo: the Carbon Package with carbon door entry guards, adaptive sports seats, an electric tilt/slide sunroof, heated seats and steering wheel, ParkAssist, cruise control and a grey-tinted top windscreen strip. PDK is the transmission of choice here, and it suits the car's character far better than the old Tiptronic did.
The service record is complete, with seven stamps from 2013 to 2026 split between Porsche Centres in Nottingham, Bolton and East London and independent Porsche specialists, the most recent at 45,902 miles. All books and manuals are present. Mileage averages out at a modest rate for a 15-year-old Turbo, and the paperwork backs it up.
