Porsche 911 Targa 4S

This is a right-hand-drive 997.1 Targa 4S, the all-wheel-drive 3.8-litre flat-six with the glass-roof Targa body and the five-speed Tiptronic S gearbox. It makes 350 bhp. The page quotes 1,426 built worldwide in 2008 for the RHD Targa 4S, a figure the dealer sources rather than Porsche confirms. Only a small number of those were UK cars.

It was supplied new by the Porsche Centre in Reading and first registered in May 2008. It is finished in Atlas Grey Metallic with black leather and has over £10,000 of factory options. It shows 53,815 miles and has had two former keepers. The current owner bought it in April 2015 and has kept it for 11 years. The service book has 10 stamps, three from Porsche Guildford and seven from Charles Ivey.

Recent work includes a new power steering rack, four tyres, track rods and a Tiptronic gearbox oil and filter change. The Targa roof mechanism has been serviced. After the car arrived with the dealer, No5 Garage replaced both front wishbones and forward arms and the exhaust sleeve bolts. It also checked for bore scoring and found none. The car comes with its manuals, invoices, MOT certificates, two keys and a Metatrack tracker. The private plate F7 RGA is available at extra cost. Otherwise the car reverts to RJ08 HJC.
