The 993 was the last air-cooled 911, and the Targa version adds a large electric glass roof that retracts over the rear window in place of the old removable panel. This one is the later Varioram-engined car, with a 3.6-litre flat-six making 285 bhp, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
It is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic over Marble Grey leather, the original colour combination, with hard-backed sport seats, climate control, headlamp wash and 17-inch split-rim Targa alloys with coloured centres. At just over 68,500 miles it has covered a modest distance for a car approaching 30 years old.
The car was supplied new in the UK by Lancaster Cambridge in August 1997. It has a full service history from Porsche Centres and marque specialists, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, the leather book pack, two sets of keys, the original tool kit and a large folder of invoices and MOTs.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Porsche factory figures for the 993 Targa (285 PS Varioram, manual); top speed is for the manual, Tiptronic is lower. Only 0-100 km/h was published, so 0-60 is null; kerb weight not confirmed.).
