Porsche 911 SC Targa

The 911 SC was the car that kept the original 911 going through the late 1970s and early 1980s, and the Targa adds the removable roof panel and fixed roll hoop. This 1982 right-hand-drive example has the 3.0-litre flat-six and a manual gearbox, finished in Pewter Metallic, which the page says is its original shade.

It was restored over six years and featured in 911 & Porsche World in October 2015. The work covered extensive bodywork repair, including sills, wings and kidney bowls, followed by a full repaint. Redtek Porsche rebuilt the engine, which was blueprinted and fitted with new valves, guides, chains, bearings and seals, and the barrels were replated to Porsche specification. The Targa roof was restored by Southbound Motor Trimmers.

A later owner returned the interior to its factory combination of beige leatherette with brown and beige Pasha inserts, using original materials. Around 10,000 miles have been covered since the restoration, with 124,370 miles on the odometer in total. The car has had 11 previous owners and is listed with a clear HPI check and 12 months' MOT.
