Listed today at Paul Stephens, Halstead. Last checked today.
This is the first Clubsport Series II built by Paul Stephens, a restomod 911 that took the firm's lightweight, driver-focused Clubsport idea and gave it more power, a firmer chassis and a little more comfort. It was completed in 2017 and drew strong press coverage at the time. Paul Stephens says the car was endorsed by Magnus Walker.
The engine is a 3.6-litre Varioram flat-six from a 993, with no catalytic converter, a sports air filter and a bespoke exhaust, giving a stated 295 bhp. It drives through a G50 five-speed manual gearbox with a Quaife limited-slip differential, a lightweight RS flywheel and clutch. Weight is quoted at 1,070 kg. Outlaw 001 wheels with Yokohama Advan tyres and KW V3 adjustable suspension complete the chassis, set up for fast road use rather than track work.
Inside, the rear seats have been removed and the front buckets are trimmed in houndstooth with red accents. The car keeps electric windows, a leather-covered dash top, a retrimmed Momo wheel and a Porsche Classic PCM head unit. It shows 7,635 miles and is in Graphite Blue. The asking price includes VAT.
