Porsche 911 L

The 911L was a one-year model, sitting at the top of the short-wheelbase 911 range in 1968 and built in small numbers, which the dealer puts at fewer than 500. This right-hand-drive car is finished in Polo Red (6802) with black leatherette trim, and was completed in October 1967 for the 1968 model year.

It is the subject of a full restoration that is close to completion. The body has been stripped to bare metal, with any panels needing replacement dealt with. The dealer states the car is numbers matching for colour, engine and gearbox. The original engine and five-speed manual gearbox have been rebuilt, along with the other mechanical components, and a few sensible upgrades have been made.

Because the work is unfinished, the car shows zero miles. It will be sold with some run-in miles and a final service, plus restoration paperwork and photographs. Price is on application and depends on the buyer's final specification.
