1999 Porsche 911 GT3
£89,995
About this car
The 996-generation GT3 of 1999 marked the nameplate's debut and remains one of the most significant 911s of its era. Its 3.6-litre Mezger flat-six — a unit tracing its lineage directly to the 962 and 911 GT1 race cars — produces 360 bhp in naturally aspirated form and revs to 8,200 rpm, making it an entirely different proposition to the wider 996 range. Being one of just 106 UK right-hand-drive cars, sourcing one with known provenance is increasingly difficult.
This example presents in Arctic Silver — clean and period-appropriate — with a factory specification that goes beyond the base car. Black leather bucket seats with crested headrests and Guards Red seatbelts make for a purposeful interior, joined by a Tequipment stainless steel rear roll cage, body-coloured centre console, and aluminium-look handbrake and gear knob. Unusually for a car built to shed weight, air conditioning was optioned from the factory. A Porsche PCCM Plus system with DAB, Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay has since been added. At 69,939 miles from a 1999 registration, the car has been used sensibly over its life.
Paragon have a long history with this specific car, having previously sold and serviced it themselves. It is supplied with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and is currently being prepared for sale.
