The 996 GT2 was the first rear-drive, turbocharged 911 built for the road with a manual gearbox only and no driver aids to speak of. Its twin-turbo 3.6-litre flat-six produces 455 bhp and 620 Nm, and Porsche quoted a top speed of 204 mph. It remains one of the more demanding and sought-after 911s of its era.
This 2001 car is finished in Arctic Silver with black leather and has covered 40,545 miles. The original owner specified the Arctic Silver package, leather sport seats, aluminium dials, coloured wheel centres and crest-embossed headrests, and the car has bucket seats.
The history file lists 16 service stamps from 2002 to 2025, starting with a run of Porsche Centres and continuing with a Porsche specialist. All books and manuals are present. The listing is now marked as sold.
