Porsche 911 E 2.4 Targa

A 1973 911 E Targa with the mechanically fuel-injected 2.4-litre flat-six and five-speed gearbox, supplied new through Norman Scott Porsche Audi in Houston, Texas. It was ordered in Gemini Blue metallic with air conditioning, and the original order documents, handbook pack and service book survive. It remains left-hand drive.

The history is well recorded. Service stamps start at 44 miles and run through to 87,500 miles in 1995. The car came to Europe in 2017 at 98,000 miles, where a Belgian Porsche specialist spent over €15,000 on suspension, brakes, injection pump, driveshafts and exhaust. A Kent specialist then repainted it in its original colour and renewed seals, lights and trim, and the seats were refurbished. Restoration spending is stated as well over £20,000.

The current owner bought it in 2024 and has spent a further £14,000 on RS-specification brakes and suspension, including new Bilstein front shocks, a roll bar, front calipers, discs and Ferodo pads. The dealer says it has covered around 11,000 miles in the UK. The page gives no current odometer reading.
