The 3.8-litre flat-six makes 395 bhp, and this car is well optioned: PDK, Sport Chrono Package Plus, sports exhaust and PDCC active anti-roll. The 991.1 was the last naturally aspirated Carrera S. It is a rewarding car to drive, with hydraulic-feel steering that Porsche dropped for the electric rack on later cars, and a free-revving engine that was replaced by a turbocharged unit in the 991.2.
