This is a right-hand-drive 1973 Carrera RS 2.7 built to M472 Touring specification, chassis 9113600980. It is one of only four UK-supplied RHD Tourings finished in Bahia Red, and one of 13 with leather sports seats and corduroy inlays. Options include an electric sliding roof, electric windows, a heated rear window and rear collision bar.
Supplied new by AFN in May 1973, it was first registered RLC 8L. It then passed to a single owner from 1975 to 2020, registered in the Isle of Man, and that owner's 1975 Manx International Rally entry was run in standard trim. The page states the car has never been crashed and that it covered about 7,500 miles in that long ownership. Total mileage is given as 22,000.
The page describes the condition as original. The Fuchs wheels are unrestored and still carry their date stamps and inspection ink marks. The gearbox number remains legible underneath, and the original-dated bonnet gas struts still work.
