Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7

This is a left-hand drive Carrera RS 2.7, supplied new to Hamburg and first registered in July 1973. It wears its original Grand Prix white with Viper green script, and the page says the first owner was a Düsseldorf flower dealer.

Its competition record is the draw. In the 1980s it was owned and raced by the president of the German Porsche Classic 911 Club, who won the Europa Cup class 6 championship in it. A later owner registered it in France and kept it in European events, including the Tour Auto. It was retired from competition in 2010, and in 2017 a Porsche-approved body shop gave it a cosmetic refresh.

Two large box files cover its competition, restoration and maintenance history. Also listed are a visual authentication report, a certificate of authenticity, registration documents, an expired FIVA passport, a current UK V5 and specialist inspection reports. The car is not numbers-matching. The dealer says that leaves a new owner free to use it as it is, race it again or return it to Touring specification.
