The 992 Carrera GTS occupies a sweet spot that Porsche has refined to near-perfection: more power and sharper suspension than the standard Carrera, yet without the track-focused compromises of the GT3 lineage. Its 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six produces 473 bhp, channelled through PDK and rear wheels to reach 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and a 193 mph top speed. It's the version that arguably makes the strongest case for the 911 as a driver's all-rounder.

This 2023 example shows 33,302 miles and carries a well-considered options list. The Lightweight Package is the standout addition — an option many GTS buyers overlook, but one that sharpens the driving experience in ways raw power figures can't capture. The cabin is specified to match the car's character: Race-Tex GT sports steering wheel with carbon panel, matt carbon interior package, and illuminated carbon door sill guards read as driver-focused rather than comfort-oriented. More practical choices — BOSE surround sound, electric sunroof, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera, and head-up display — round out the specification without softening it.

Finished in black, the GTS presents cleanly without the visual theatre of its competition-derived siblings. PDK remains one of the finest dual-clutch units in production, and at this price the package represents solid value in the current used 992 market.
