Porsche 911 Carrera 4S

This is a manual 996 Carrera 4S in Polar Silver metallic, first delivered on 5 May 2004 by Porsche Centre Guildford. It is one of the last of the 996 generation and came with the newer 997-style service book, which moved to two-year service intervals. The dealer sold it four years ago and says it has covered less than 3,000 miles since. It is currently back with its owner in Scotland and is yet to be collected, and the photos on the listing are from the earlier advert.

Original specification includes a switchable sports exhaust, Litronic headlights, Bose sound and electric seats with embossed crests. Porsche Centre Guildford fitted rear parking sensors and heated seats before delivery, backed by a supplementary invoice. A Tracker system is fitted, and the stereo has been upgraded to a PCCM+ unit with Apple CarPlay and DAB.

The IMS bearing was upgraded to an EPS roller bearing solution at around 34,000 miles, with a new clutch and flywheel fitted at the same time and the brake pipes renewed. An earlier claim of a Porsche-fitted IMS replacement has no paperwork. The car has six stamps in its service book and a file of invoices and MOTs from new. All three keys are present, and the rear silencers were replaced with switchable stainless items in 2016.
