Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa Sport

This 1987 Carrera 3.2 Targa is one of the later cars of the model's run, which means it has the G50 five-speed manual gearbox with a hydraulic clutch, in place of the earlier 915 box. The 3.2-litre air-cooled flat-six is the last of the classic 911 engines before the 964 arrived, and these later cars are among the most sought after.

It shows 73,644 miles. Factory options include 16-inch forged Fuchs alloys, sports seats with electric height adjustment, sports dampers, front and rear spoilers, headlamp washers and central locking. The radio has been upgraded to a Continental unit.

The car was supplied new by Maltin Porsche in Henley-on-Thames in August 1987. A history file holds service invoices, past MOT certificates and period tax discs. The dealer reports a sound underside with no corrosion in the usual areas and no oil leaks. It is due a major service and a new 12-month MOT before sale.
