Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa

The 3.2 Carrera was the final development of the original air-cooled 911 before the 964 arrived, and the Targa remains one of the more relaxed ways to enjoy it. This 1986 car is finished in Iris Blue Metallic with black 16-inch Fuchs alloys and a blue Pinstripe fabric interior, a period combination that suits the model well.

The mileage is high at 135,600, but the history is reassuring. The engine and gearbox were rebuilt by specialist NineMeister in 2009 at around 124,000 miles, so only about 12,000 miles have passed since. A new clutch went in during 2019, the interior received a full new carpet set in 2022, and the wheels were refurbished and fitted with new Michelin tyres in 2025. A large history file and full service history accompany the car, and the previous owner kept it for 11 years.

There is one point to note: the left-hand sill has been repaired, while the right-hand sill shows signs of corrosion and will need attention in time. The car has just passed its MoT, and the price reflects the sill work still to come. The C24 RGA registration is included.
