Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Retroworks Commission

This is a 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 that has been rebuilt as a Retroworks commission, a restomod take on the early long-bonnet look. The car was taken back to a bare chassis, and the air-cooled 3.2-litre flat-six was fully rebuilt. It makes a stated 250 bhp, with the catalyser deleted and SSI headers and silencer fitted.

The bodywork has been converted to long-bonnet, pre-impact bumper style with lightweight 911 T bumpers. Extra front cooling vents feed the oil cooler and brakes, and the rear arches are slightly fuller, in the manner of a 1973 RS, to take 16x8-inch Fuchs wheels at the back. Underneath are Bilstein sport dampers set up with corner weighting, standard Carrera brakes with braided hoses, and a G50 five-speed manual gearbox with a hydraulic clutch.

Inside there are new carpets and headlining, a 360mm Momo Prototype steering wheel and a lightweight electric air conditioning system fitted in the front luggage bay. The page shows 2,900 miles and ten previous owners. The price is on application.
