This 1974 Porsche 911 has been rebuilt to FIA Carrera 3.0 RSR specification for Mark Sumpter, a long-standing Porsche racer. His record includes the 2000 British GT title, the 2008 Britcar 24 Hours and the 2018 Peter Auto 2.0L Cup. He had raced the ex-Giorgio Schön 3.0 RSR in 2016, and that car set the standard he wanted to match.
The base car is a California-titled, non-sunroof 1974 911. Normandale Refinishing converted it to the wide-arched RSR shape. Maxted-Page built the engine and gearbox, and Jordan Racing Team completed the final assembly in 2021. Neil Bainbridge supplied many of the hard-to-find correct parts.
It has contested only three races since the restoration, in Peter Auto's CER1 series, and has run at the front. It was given a time penalty as a continuation car, which no longer applies. FIA HTP papers are valid through 2032 and the car has a current UK V5C. The chassis number is 9114102151.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the engine layout is given (2993cc air-cooled flat-six in the rear, rear-wheel drive). The RSR 3.0 was a factory race car, and published power and weight figures disagree from source to source, so those are null. A car described as 'RSR specification' may be a conversion, so check its history and whether it can be registered for the road.).
