Porsche 911 Carrera 2

The 993 was the last of the air-cooled 911s, and the Carrera 2 with the six-speed manual is the classic way to have one. This car has the 3.6-litre Varioram flat-six, rated at 285 bhp, and drives the rear wheels.

It is a right-hand-drive UK car, supplied new by Stratstone of Wilmslow, an official Porsche Centre, in February 1996. It still wears its original colour combination of Arena Red Metallic over Marble Grey leather, and has had four owners from new. Changes from standard are M033 springs with Bilstein B8 dampers set up by Centre Gravity, plus Carnewal RSR mufflers and a Motorsound airbox.

The history file is thorough, with a service or MOT recorded almost every year from 1997, backed by invoices and old V5s. The car comes with the leather book pack, two sets of keys and the original tool kit, and has been HPI checked. Mileage is 89,107, about 2,400 more than at its January 2026 MOT.
