The 2.7 RS is the car that set the template for the modern 911 GT: a lightweight, homologation-special Carrera with the larger 2.7-litre flat-six and the original ducktail. This one is the Touring specification, the more road-oriented version with a fuller interior, and it is the C07 Italian-supplied variant, first delivered in May 1973.
The car did not reach the UK until October 1989, when it was first registered here. It is described as matching-numbers, with an extensive service history, and finished in Light Ivory over black leather and cloth. The odometer reads 75,708 kilometres.
A light and sympathetic restoration has been carried out, and the underside has been wax-oiled for protection. Porsche specialists Neil Bainbridge and Mark Waring have inspected it previously, JZM has assessed it, and Autofarm has seen it on numerous occasions.
