This 1955 Porsche 356 Pre-A Coupé has been turned into an "outlaw": it keeps the early car's shape but has a much stronger drivetrain. In 2020 Bienert Boxer Motors built a WR2.2 engine for it, which makes around 160 bhp and over 200 Nm. It is paired with a rebuilt 741 transmission that has had a taller fourth gear added.
Much of the specification is aimed at driving hard. Classic Boxers made the double oil coolers fitted in both front wings, the Carrera-style lines, the drum brakes with air plates and racing pads, and the Sebring exhaust. The car also has Tecnomagnesio wheels with Avon CR6 ZZ tyres.
The body was restored more than 15 years ago and is finished in Adria Blue Metallic. The interior is described as completely original and in top condition, with coco mats, Simpson lap belts and sun visors refitted. Thornley Kelham is offering it on behalf of a private client. No price or mileage is given.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car ('Outlaw' 2.2L is an aftermarket modification, not a Porsche factory variant (factory Pre-A engines were 1.1–1.5L); no manufacturer performance figures exist. Only base-car layout (rear flat-four, RWD, German-built) is given.).
