2024 Morgan Super 3

The Super 3 is Morgan's most uncompromising current model: a three-wheeled, open-cockpit machine built around a tubular aluminium space frame and Ford's 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine. Launched in 2022 as the successor to the V-twin 3 Wheeler, it's more aerodynamically resolved and more conventionally driveable than its predecessor while retaining the fundamental commitment to low mass and full exposure to the elements. This 2024 example shows just 1,212 miles — scarcely broken in.

Classified as a tricycle under UK law, the Super 3 needs only a standard car licence to drive. Power reaches the single rear wheel through a manual gearbox, and the mid-mounted Ford unit sits in an otherwise near-empty structure that contributes to a kerb weight of around 635 kg. The driving experience sits closer to a motorcycle than almost anything else: no doors, no meaningful weather protection, no distance between driver and road.

At £35,000 for a 2024 car with barely four figures on the clock, this is a lightly-used example of a low-volume model that Morgan produces in very limited numbers. The Super 3 is now well into its development cycle and represents the formula in a mature, resolved form.
