This is car number 18 of just 60 Plus 4 Super Sports built in 2012 to mark 50 years since Chris Lawrence's Morgan won its class at the 1962 Le Mans 24 Hours. The edition borrows the original's bonnet scoop, now covering throttle bodies on the 2.0-litre Duratec engine, along with stopwatch timing clocks and black centre-lock Minilite wheels.
It is finished in RAF Blue with yellow detailing around the nose, and has black perforated leather and a light ash dash with a map light. The factory chassis upgrades include adjustable dampers, an anti-tramp bar, a Panhard rod, a limited-slip differential, uprated brakes and a quicker steering rack. The throttle bodies sit in a carbon airbox that quietens the car for track days and can be removed for more noise on the road. The roll-over bar can also be removed.
The car shows 28,173 miles and has a history file of servicing invoices, many from Morgan main dealers. The dealer describes the condition as excellent.
