This is one of only two Morgan Aero Super Sport GT3s built, constructed and run by the French team AutoGT Racing for the 2009 FIA European GT3 Championship. It won on its debut at Silverstone with Johan-Boris Scheier and Dimitri Enjalbert driving. It then raced at Adria, Oschersleben, Portimao, Paul Ricard and Zolder, taking on the Aston Martins, Ferraris and Audis of the period.
Power comes from a 4962cc BMW S50LA V8 making almost 600bhp, paired with a Holinger six-speed sequential gearbox with a lever shift. The current owner bought it directly from Morgan in 2015.
Foxcraft Racing refreshed the car and prepared it for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, which included Mugello, Spa, Estoril and Paul Ricard. It has been a regular in Peter Auto's Endurance Racing Legends. It also raced in the first Motor Racing Legends GT3 Legends event at Silverstone in October 2024, so it is eligible for that series. The page gives no price, mileage or registration.
