This 1986 Mini 1275 is a bespoke open-top Roadster conversion, a coachbuilt take on the classic Mini that was never part of the standard range. It is a left-hand drive car finished in Sea Blue with a black leather interior.
It was first supplied to Milan, Italy, and the current owner bought it in 2004. For more than a decade it was kept in the South of France and came back to the UK each year for servicing.
A full restoration was carried out in 2015. It included a freshly built, tuned 1275cc engine with twin SU carburettors, a complete suspension rebuild, a new wiring loom and an overhauled brake system. An aluminium radiator with an electric fan, a Cherry Bomb exhaust and a new tonneau cover were also fitted. A history file with invoices and a current V5 come with the car, and it will be sold with a fresh MOT.
