The SLS AMG was the first car built from scratch by AMG, and its gullwing doors and long-bonnet proportions deliberately recall the 1950s 300 SL. This 2012 coupé has the naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8, which makes 563 bhp and drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Mercedes quoted 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 197 mph.
It covers 13,250 miles, which is low for the age, and has had two owners. One of them was the motoring journalist and broadcaster Quentin Willson. It was first registered in August 2012 and the page lists a full Mercedes-Benz service history.
The spec is designo Mystic White paint over designo black leather. Options include AMG ceramic composite brakes, forged AMG 10-spoke wheels, a Bang & Olufsen sound system and a reversing camera. The cabin also has AMG sports seats, heated and with memory, and an AMG performance steering wheel trimmed in Nappa leather and Alcantara.
