The SLC was the long-wheelbase, fixed-roof sibling of the R107 SL, and the 380 was among the most expensive Mercedes-Benz models on sale when this car was new. This 1981 example is one of roughly 1,991 built for that model year, from a total of 3,789 380 SLCs made over a short production run.
It is a left-hand-drive car finished in black over a Charcoal velour interior, a European-only special order trim. It was delivered new on 27 March 1981 through the tourist delivery scheme, and its first owner kept it for more than 25 years. Options include a sliding sunroof, Becker radio, air-conditioning with climate control and fog lamps.
The dealer quotes about 36,000 original miles, while the specification lists 37,000. The car comes with its owner's manual, maintenance books, delivery booklets, first-aid kit, Dambach warning triangle, spare wheel and tool roll. A major service with new fluids, filters and spark plugs was carried out on 16 December 2019, with invoices on file.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Mercedes-Benz C107 factory engine data (M116 3.8 V8). Power, top speed and weight left null because the 1981 revision cut output from 218 PS to 204 PS, so the 1981 figures are ambiguous. Only 0-100 km/h was published.).
£34,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
