£10,020 above the median asking price
Compared with 3 other Mercedes-Benz SL SL65 AMG for sale on Vertar (2004 to 2007). Median £69,975.
The SL65 AMG was the range-topping R230, pairing a twin-turbocharged 5,980 cc V12 with 604 hp and a reputation as one of the quickest roadsters of its day. It was also the lowest-volume R230 variant, and few were sold in the UK.
This example covers 18,500 miles, which is very low for a car of 2004. It is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic over black Designo leather, with the Designo Exclusive package, burr walnut trim, a ship's deck fishbone wood centre console and a panoramic Vario roof. Other equipment includes AMG sports suspension, Active Body Control, 19-inch AMG wheels, Keyless Go, climate-controlled memory seats and COMAND navigation. A tracker is fitted.
It was supplied new by Mercedes-Benz Leicester in November 2004 and has had three keepers. The car has a full service history, with the original instruction books, service invoices and the spare remote key. The dealer lists a 12-month warranty.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Mercedes-AMG launch figures, 2004 (612 PS, electronically limited 250 km/h). Only 0-100 km/h published, so 0-60 is null; kerb weight not confirmed.).
