About this car

A late R107 300SL, one of the last of the line, with just over 10,000 miles recorded. Finished in Signal Red over Cream Beige leather, it is unrestored and described as original throughout.

It was delivered new to Mercedes-Benz dealer H L Gorner in Wigan in 1989 and first registered in the dealer's name. After two private owners it passed in 1992 to Cynthia Marchant, a Mercedes-Benz Club member, who used it only occasionally before storing it in 2007. It returned to the road in December 2024 after recommissioning, and this is the first time it has been offered for sale in 33 years.

Fifteen previous MoT certificates, covering 1992 to 2007, back up the mileage. The car comes with its original handbook pack, tool roll, spare key and sales brochure.
