Listed today at DD Classics, Kew. Last checked today.
The Mercedes-Benz 190SL was the smaller, more affordable sibling to the 300SL Gullwing, pairing similar styling with a 1.9-litre four-cylinder engine. This 1959 car is a right-hand-drive example, which is the harder version to find, and it comes with the factory hardtop.
DD Classics has restored it in-house. The car has had a complete bare-metal respray in black, and the interior has been re-rimmed in red leather. The work extends to the chrome trim and the underside.
Mechanically, the engine has been fully regasketed and fitted with new carburettors and a new fuel tank. The suspension has been reconditioned with new bushes and ball joints, and the braking system has been rebuilt. It has a manual gearbox. Mileage and price are not stated, and the price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Mercedes-Benz Classic historical specifications (105 PS, 1897 cc M121 engine). Weight and top speed were left null because the published sources don't agree. Only a 0-100 km/h figure was published, so 0-60 is null.).
