Mercedes-Benz G-Class G300 Professional

The G300 Professional is the workhorse end of the G-Class range, built on the old-school W461 platform for commercial, agricultural and military buyers. This one was supplied new to Australia and is a 2018 car with a single owner, now registered in the UK. It sits on 16-inch steel-style heavy-duty alloy wheels and keeps the utilitarian character that the more luxurious G-Wagens have long since moved away from.

The specification is practical: a walk-on bonnet rated to 120 kg, a roof rack good for 200 kg, a 1,000 kg internal payload, a wooden load floor, heated seats, towing equipment and an external power terminal. The cabin has drainage plugs so it can be washed out. The page says it is in original factory specification apart from its tyres, and that it is Euro 6 compliant and exempt from ULEZ daily charges.

The odometer reads 70,412 km, with the dealer quoting about 45,000 miles. A Service A was recently carried out. The gearbox is a five-speed automatic.
