Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series

The AMG GT Black Series holds a rare position in modern performance car history — the sixth car to carry AMG's most uncompromising badge, and the only production road car to use the flat-plane 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 derived directly from the GT3 racing programme. That engine produces 720 bhp, drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed DCT, and delivers a 3.2-second 0–62 time and 202 mph flat out — figures backed by the car's production Nürburgring lap record at the time of its release. It is not a subtler, more refined GT; it is a track tool that happens to be road-registered.

This 2021 example presents in Obsidian Black Metallic with a satin paint protection film applied to the entire car, preserving the finish across just 3,358 miles. The specification is appropriately focused: AMG carbon fibre bucket seats, carbon fibre exterior package, carbon fibre fixed double rear wing, high-performance ceramic composite brakes, and the AMG Interior Night Package.
