The 650S Le Mans was built to mark 20 years since McLaren's 1995 win at Le Mans, with 50 cars made, nearly all in Sarthe Grey. This one is the exception: a one-off in MSO Solar Yellow, also called Harrods Yellow, a reference to the third-placed Harrods-liveried F1 GTR. It was specially ordered by David Clark, who oversaw McLaren's F1 road car and race programme.
The Le Mans car was developed by MSO with input from F1 designer Peter Stevens. Its roof-mounted snorkel, here finished in Solar Yellow, feeds extra air to the twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8. Other Le Mans details are the louvred front wings and the 19-inch front and 20-inch rear lightweight five-spoke wheels, styled after the F1 GTR's. The car also has carbon ceramic brakes, an MSO carbon rear diffuser, front splitter and rear bumper, and the Stealth package.
Inside are Carbon Black Alcantara and leather, a carbon interior upgrade, comfort seats and a Meridian sound system. The car has covered 11,216 miles and has paint protection film over the whole body.
