2015 McLaren 650S Spider

The 650S Spider sits at the sweet spot of McLaren's Sports Series generation: a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 carbon-tub car with a folding hard top, and enough hardware from the P1-era playbook to still feel fast today. This 2015 example is finished in Aurora Blue over a full black Alcantara interior with contrast yellow piping. The yellow carries through to the brake calipers, which clamp carbon ceramic discs behind five-spoke diamond-faced alloys.

The options list is more thorough than most. Carbon fibre appears on the side blades, front and rear badges, wheel centre caps and throughout the cabin, and there is the Meridian audio system, electric seats and mirrors, the nose-lift system for speed bumps and driveways, and Apple CarPlay. The whole car is wrapped in full satin stealth paint protection film, which suggests the bodywork has been looked after as carefully as the mechanicals.
