About this car

The 650S Le Mans is one of the rarest takes on McLaren's 650S, built in a run of just 50 cars to mark 20 years since the F1 GTR's outright win at Le Mans in 1995. Under the skin it is the familiar 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 with 641 bhp and 500 lb ft, good for 0-62mph in 3.0 seconds and 204mph flat out. The edition adds a reworked front bumper with a wider splitter, a fixed rear wing in place of the active item, a titanium exhaust and, most distinctively, a roof-mounted snorkel intake feeding the engine just behind the driver's head.

This UK car has covered only 1,400 miles from new and is finished in Sarthe Grey, a colour created specifically for the Le Mans edition and named after the circuit. It is car one of the 50 numbered examples and sits on the model's Le Mans-specific alloy wheels, with McLaren Orange brake callipers and a Stealth Package and badge set. Carbon fibre is used extensively, with the airbrake, door mirrors, engine covers, front splitter, rear bumper and side intakes all in exposed weave, along with a carbon interior upgrade. Full paint protection film and a nose lift are fitted.

Inside, black leather and Alcantara is paired with McLaren Orange Alcantara and Carbon Black stitching, a nod to the papaya livery that carried the F1 GTR to victory. Further equipment includes electric heated memory seats, a Meridian sound system, front and rear parking sensors, a rear camera, a sports exhaust and a vehicle tracking system.
