Maserati Spyder 4.2 90th Anniversary

This is a 2005 Maserati Spyder in 90th Anniversary form, a special edition marking nine decades of the marque. Of the 181 built, 90 were allocated to North America and 90 to the rest of the world. Only 15 of those were right-hand drive, and the dealer says just five came to the UK. This car was registered new in the UK.

The car is finished in Blu Anniversario over Navy Blue leather with Grigio BrighTex upholstery. The edition's signature is carbon-fibre trim with blue polyester strands woven in. It appears on the hard tonneau cover and its fairings, on the roll-over bar covers and throughout the interior. An aftermarket exhaust has also been fitted.

Power comes from the naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8, which produces 385 bhp and drives the rear wheels through a semi-automatic gearbox. The odometer reads 52,070 miles, and the dealer describes a meticulous maintenance record.
