Maserati Quattroporte 3.2 V8 Evoluzione

This is a 1999 Maserati Quattroporte Evoluzione, the final development of the Gandini-styled fourth-generation saloon with its 3.2-litre V8. It has covered 49,000 miles and is finished in Grigio Alfieri over Nero leather, with Skyhook adaptive suspension and black brake callipers.

It has an unusual history: the page says it was Maserati's stand car at the 1998 Birmingham NEC Motor Show.

A substantial amount of work has been carried out recently. The engine, gearbox and front subframe were removed, and the engine was shimmed and fitted with new gaskets. The front shock absorbers and radiator were replaced, and a Tubi Style rear exhaust box was fitted. The engine and gearbox casings were resprayed, with red-painted cam covers. The whole car was stripped and repainted in its original Grigio Alfieri, and the alloy wheels were refurbished and fitted with four new tyres.
