Maserati Merak SS

The Merak SS was the more powerful version of Maserati's mid-engined V6 coupe, a Giugiaro-styled car that sat below the Bora and shared much of its engineering with the Citroën-era Maserati years. This is a right-hand-drive UK car, described as one of the last built, delivered and registered in 1983 and finished in red with a manual gearbox.

It has had a full body-off restoration, completed in 2019. The work covered a rebuild of the engine, with upgrades to the valves and timing chain, plus the gearbox and suspension, using original parts, many of them sourced from Italy. Receipts and invoices are said to be in the history file.

The odometer shows 28,800 miles, and the dealer says the car has covered under 350 of those since the restoration, though it has been driven regularly to keep it in working order. The page lists an MOT expiry of 22 August 2024.
