Lotus Elise 111R Touring

The Elise 111R is the Series 2 car with the 189 bhp Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine, a high-revving 1.8 that gives the lightweight Lotus a 0-62mph time of 4.9 seconds. This one is a Touring-spec car, which adds a lined soft top, extra carpeting, sun visors and electric windows, and it is a non-air-conditioned example.

First registered in October 2005 and supplied new through the Lotus dealer in Bromsgrove, it has covered 61,438 miles. Modifications include Nitron adjustable dampers and springs, upgraded alloy radiators (a known weak point), Exige-style carbon fibre side scoops and a removable Momo steering wheel without an airbag.

The history file includes the original Lotus maintenance booklet plus a second one, supporting invoices and old MOT certificates. Two keys and the emergency key card are present. The latest service was by Oakmere Lotus in April 2026 at 59,686 miles, covering oil and filter, brake fluid, air filter and auxiliary belt, with new brake pads all round and recently fitted tyres.
