Land Rover Range Rover 2-Door

This is one of the last two-door Range Rover Classics built, registered on 25 June 1981 as first-generation production was drawing to a close. The two-door cars are the purist's choice: lighter and simpler than the four-door models that followed, and still carrying the original David Bache design.

It is finished in Tuscan Blue and has an interior re-trimmed in the period 'teddy bear' velour, a material the page says is no longer available even through official Land Rover channels. The carpets are new-old stock. The car was invited to the Goodwood Speedweek Range Rover 50th celebration in 2020 and appeared at the JLR 70th Anniversary event in Spain. It has also been covered by Octane and CAR.

In 2022 the specialist Kingsley recommissioned it in a programme costing £38,000. The work included a carburettor rebuild, new radiators, a rear main oil seal, brake lines, tailgate parts, and attention to the transfer box, differential seals and suspension bushes. The odometer shows approximately 68,000 miles, understood to be genuine, and a history file accompanies the car.
