This is one of the 400 Defender 90 Heritage models built to mark 67 years of Land Rover production and the end of the original Defender. The Heritage cars are recognisable by their Grassmere Green paint, said to come from a surplus of military paint, and the HUE 166 decal, a reference to the registration of the first pre-production Land Rover.
This example has been built up by the selling dealer's own workshop. It has a Stayfast Mohair soft top in Sand, Heritage cloth seats front and rear, a galvanised heavy-duty safety cage and a bulkhead delete. Other details include heated seats, electric windows, a leather gear gaiter, Heritage grilles, side and rear steps, a rear-mounted spare wheel and steel wheels painted in Grassmere Green.
It shows 31,555 miles and has a 2.2-litre diesel with a manual gearbox. It comes with a detailed service record, two keys and all the handbooks.
