Land Rover Defender 110 LS3 V8 Restomod

This 2009 Defender 110 has been converted to run a 6.2-litre LS3 V8, the naturally aspirated unit from the Chevrolet Corvette, paired with an eight-speed automatic. It keeps the high and low range transfer case, so it retains proper off-road ability. Buryas Bridge Garage carried out the conversion in September 2022 at 102,718 miles, and about 9,000 miles have been covered since.

The work went beyond the engine. The page lists a body-off chassis refurbishment, Dinitrol corrosion protection, uprated brakes, new suspension components and bushes, a custom exhaust, a new ECU and a Panhard rod. The current owner has reportedly spent over £10,000 since mid-2023 on interior changes, an oil radiator and rear differential improvements. The car has recently been paint corrected and ceramic coated.

It is finished in Santorini Black with 18-inch black Urban wheels, BF Goodrich tyres, red calipers and half-leather seats with white stitching. The seller notes two small dents, surface rust inside the wheels, a front bumper that would benefit from powder coating and a rear window clip that needs replacing. The history file includes conversion invoices, a stamped service booklet, MOT certificates and the V5C. The cherished plate LS03 YEW is included.
