Listed today at Cars International, Rochford. Last checked today.
The Flaminia Zagato is one of Lancia's most distinctive coachbuilt coupes, with an aluminium body, the "double bubble" roof and pop-out door handles. This 3C Super Sport is from the last series, fitted with triple Weber carburettors and the 2.8-litre V6. Only 187 were built between 1964 and 1967.
The car is finished in silver with Connolly Vaumol Tan leather. Thornley Kelham carried out a body-off, nut-and-bolt restoration to concours standard over two years, at a cost of just over £330,000. It was shown at the London Concours and Hampton Court Concours in 2020.
The history file includes Jersey registration papers from 1970 and a 1978 UK import customs form recording chassis 2094 and engine 2088. The dealer is highly confident the engine is the original, though it can't be guaranteed. Earlier work was done by Richard Thorne from 2000. The restoration records and photographs are included, and the car is UK registered with UK taxes paid.
