This 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago has been reworked by BF Performance into a road-going take on the track-only Murcielago R-GT. It is finished in black with chilli red foil and shows 17,500 miles. The car has been a prize winner on the show circuit.
The modifications include a remotely switchable sports exhaust, said to add around 40 horsepower, and a claimed 620 bhp output. BF Performance made the carbon fibre front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, engine cover and rear wing. A narrower rear wing is available for road use. The brakes, wheels and rear lights are to first-series LP640 specification. All the upgrades can be removed to return the car to factory specification.
Inside, the red leather is joined by custom red carbon fibre on the centre console and dash surround. The doors open remotely, and the car is prepared for racing belts if wanted. A touch-screen head unit with GPS navigation and a reversing camera is fitted, with a separate amplifier, uprated speakers and a subwoofer. The dealer puts the cost of the improvements at more than £60,000. The page gives no price.
