The Diablo SV, short for Super Veloce, was shown at Geneva in 1995 and revived a name last used on the Miura. It was the purist's Diablo: rear-wheel drive rather than the VT's four-wheel drive, with a naturally aspirated 5.7-litre V12 making over 500 bhp, an adjustable rear wing and SV-specific styling. This 1997 car is a pre-facelift example, so it keeps the pop-up headlights, and it has a five-speed manual gearbox.
It is finished in Giallo with a grey Alcantara interior trimmed with Giallo piping, and has black SV decals and three-piece split-rim alloys. The page quotes 36,949 miles (the text also mentions 59,464 km, which is consistent) and six previous owners. It is right-hand drive.
The car comes from a private collection of 52 cars, where a full-time mechanic ran an on-site service centre and used only genuine Lamborghini parts. An extensive history file with supporting paperwork and a covering letter accompanies it.
